MILLBURN, NJ – The new nonprofit group Explore Millburn-Short Hills announced the following events, local business drives, and fundraisers this weekend:
Live music presented by Explore Millburn-Short Hills
On Saturday there will be two shows at the same time at 6 p.m. and 8 p.m. Last Exit will play in the Boxcar Bar at Short Hills Station and Los Traficantes del Amor will play in Main Street Closure. This entertainment is made available to the public free of charge. The complete summer music program is published here.
New eyes for those in need
An annual summer sunglasses sale will take place this Saturday from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at New Eyes for the Needy, 549 Millburn Ave. Softly worn designer sunglasses from $ 20 and jewelry from $ 2. The proceeds will help give a clear vision to those living in the United States who are in financial need.
Take your furry friend to the Millburn Standard
As part of their one year anniversary celebration, Millburn Standard will host “Barks and Bubbles” on Sunday. The event offers a dog photo booth and champagne specials. Visit her on social media @millburn_standard for more information.
Training of the COVID Relief Fund
F45 Training is working with Give India to raise funds for COVID relief in this country. Check her out on Instagram @ f45_training_millburn for more information and to donate, or visit her in person at 296 Millburn Ave.
CEDA Sunday – the paper mill’s playhouse in the park
On Sunday, June 27th, from 1pm to 5pm, Millburn Township CEDA (Cultural, Engagement, Diversity & Arts) will open with “Paper Mill Playhouse in the Park”. Events include paper mill alumni performances, Name That Show Tune, an interactive musical theater game, and teaching for children is enhanced. Look out for more.
