The famous television actor Ram Kapoor, known from the television series Bade Acche Lagte Hain, has just bought a Porsche 911 Carrera S sports car. The sports car costs Rs. 1.84 million euros before taxes. The 911 is painted in blue. The post was shared on Instagram by Porsche India, which featured Ram Kapoor with his new 911.
The actor also has other expensive cars like a BMW X5 and a Mercedes-Benz G63 AMG. He also likes to ride a motorcycle. He owns a Harley Davidson, BMW GS and an Indian. The Carrera S is a more powerful version of the basic Carrera variant.
It has a 3.0 liter boxer boxer petrol engine with two turbochargers. The engine can generate a maximum power of 450 hp and a maximum torque of 530 Nm. The engine can reach a redline of 7,500 rpm. The top speed of the Carrera S is 308 km / h. Paired with an 8-speed dual clutch automatic transmission that drives the rear wheels. The PDK automatic transmission used by Porsche is one of the fastest shifting dual clutch transmissions. There are also shift paddles behind the steering wheel so that the driver can change gears himself.

Due to the unique rear engine layout, the 911 Carrera S can beat a ton in just 3.7 seconds. In this arrangement the engine is placed above the rear wheels. The weight of the engine pushes the tires into the ground, which increases traction.
The braking tasks are carried out by 6-piston calipers at the front and 4-piston calipers at the rear. The front wheels measure 20 inches, the rear wheels 21 inches. As a Porsche, there are several options that you can choose from. You get the 911 with a sports suspension that lowers the vehicle by a further 10 mm, as well as dynamic suspension control.

Rear-wheel steering is also available as an option. The rear wheel turns in the same direction as the front wheels when driving slowly. This effectively reduces the wheelbase and can help make tight U-turns or maneuver in parking lots. When driving at high speed, the rear wheels can turn in the same direction as the front wheels. This effectively increases the wheelbase and provides more grip and stability when cornering at high speeds.
There’s also a rear spoiler that automatically trips when you exceed a certain speed. When the vehicle is moving or locked, the door handles are flush with the body. This helps in smoothing out the airflow.

You get LED headlights with four LED spots that are used as daytime running lights. There are also cruise control, central locking, two-zone automatic air conditioning, Keyless GO, front and rear parking sensors with camera, multifunction steering wheel, touchscreen infotainment system with premium sound system and much more. Porsche has preserved its legacy with an analog tachometer in the middle, but also donated two digital screens next to the tachometer.
