They say what goes around comes back, and that seems to be the case with a certain fashion trend right now.
We all know double denim had a rough spot in the early noughties after booming in the 90s.
But the colliding denim look seems to be celebrating a comeback – at least according to New Look.
The fashion retailer posted a beautiful double denim outfit on his Instagram yesterday.
The model posed against the backdrop of the sea and sand dunes in true summer vacation style and wore high-waisted jeans with dark and light contrasts and a matching denim shirt.
And New Look fans couldn’t get enough of the look.
“Double Denimmmmmmm,” enthused one enthusiastic fan, while someone else added, “Oh, I love the double denim.”
“I need the jeans !!!!” one person exclaimed while another said they were “obsessed” with the shirt.
“Okay, I’m obsessed,” agreed another denim fan.

But some people were reminded of an old favorite girl band from the ’90s when they saw the picture.
“Finally live my enchanted dream,” said one happy buyer.

The New Look model certainly channeled the energy of denim-loving 90s-era pop band B * witched.
“B * Witched called and wants her outfit back,” New Look agreed.
The Irish girl band with twin sisters Edele and Keavy Lynch, Lindsay Armaou and Sinéad O’Carroll were famous for their love of denim.
You’ll be delighted to know that over two decades later, their cherished style is still going strong – but we could wait for that heatwave to wear off before we put on the whole outfit!
